On the Kinship of the Arka People and Rubber Transaction——Taking the Old Village of Zhasongban in Xishuangbanna for Example

在对西双版纳扎松板老寨的橡胶贸易的实证研究的基础上,探讨阿卡社会的亲属关系如何塑造了橡胶在村落级的市场贸易。他们通过对橡胶交易中关键概念的工具性操控,使得现代市场经济中价格机制难以发挥作用。人们的经济行为主要依据传统社会由父子联名制基础上的家族谱系为基本原则的一套亲属关系的多层等级网络。阿卡人正是通过其在村寨橡胶贸易中亲属关系的动态实践理解并诠释了橡胶贸易及其背后的一套西方资本主义市场经济,同时完成市场经济体系的本土化运作过程。

On an empirical study of rubber transaction in the old village of Zhasongban in Xishuangbanna, this paper explores into how the kinship of the Arka society has shaped village-based rubber transaction markets. Their instrumental manipulation of key concepts in rubber transaction made price mechanism in modern market economy unviable. The local people＇s economic behavior is basically based on a multi-level hierarchical network under the principle of （atherson genealogy. It is through their dynamic practice in village-based rubber transact,on that the Arka people understands and interprets rubber transaction and the underlying western capitalist market economy and realizes the localization of market economic system.
