This paper introduces the principle of Youden diagram, how to use Excel software to draw attention to the issue of evaluation criteria and application. By using data of formaldehyde content test in leather in proficiency test, the application of it in interlaboratory comparative analysis is pointed out, which contributes to the identifing and resolving of problem, and is favor to the quality of proficiency test project.
