摘要
根据国际辐射单位和测量委员会(ICRU)报告中对环境监测中新的实用辐射量定义,对一种圆柱形周围剂量当量电离室进行了初步研究。结果表明在正常工作条件下,收集极的材料和尺寸对于能量响应的影响并不明显;铝质电离室的能量响应特性好于有机玻璃的电离室。可以考虑同时采用有机玻璃和铝作为制作电离室的材料,通过理论计算并优化几何尺寸得到较好的能量响应曲线。
According to definitions of the new operational radiation quantities for area monitoring recommended by the International Commission on Radiation Units and Measurements (ICRU) report, a cylindrical ambient dose equivalent ionization chamber is designed and preliminary studied. The results show that the effect by the material and the size of the collector to the energy response is not obvious, energy response characteristic of the aluminum ionization chamber is better than that of the plexiglass. Through the theoretical calculation and geometry optimization, the cylindrical ambient dose equivalent ionization chamber made from plexiglass as a shell and lined with an appropriate thickness of the aluminum layer will get a better energy response curve.
