Non-isothermal Crystallization Kinetics of Zr_(55)Al_(10)Ni_5Cu_(30) Bulk Metallic Glass with Different Microstructure

摘要 通过改变母合金铸锭的重熔次数获得具有不同微观结构的Zr55Al10Ni5Cu30块体非晶合金,并采用差示扫描量热仪研究了合金在连续加热条件下的晶化动力学。结果表明,两种微观结构的Zr55Al10Ni5Cu30块体非晶合金具有相似的表观晶化激活能。这是因为该非晶0371合金初生相的结构与其局域有序结构不一致,以致于有序区尺寸的大小对晶化相的形核和长大几乎没有影响。 r55Al10Ni5Cu30 bulk metallic glasses with different microstructure were obtained by changing the melting time of the master alloy ingots, and the non-isothermal crystallization kinetics was investigated by differential scanning calorimeter. The results show that the two r55Al10Ni5Cu30 bulk metallic glasses with different microstructure have the similar apparent activation energy of crystallization. The reason is that the structure of the primary phase of the bulk metallic glasses is different from their local ordering structure, which results in little effect of the size of medium and short range ordering on the nucleation and growth of crystallization phase.
