Western Political Science Resources for the Research On Political Security

新的时代需要新的政治安全理论。随着全球化的发展和中国现代化进程的加快,各种政治风险和挑战也不断增加,如何维护国家的政治安全成为中国执政党和理论家们高度关注的现实问题。西方的政治学理论主要从政治体系合法性和有效性的建立和维护、政治制度化水平的提高和国家能力建设的加强、政治文化和公民意识的培育等方面对政治安全研究提供了重要的思想资源。梳理西方政治学中关于政治安全的相关研究,是借鉴西方政治学的理论资源,能够丰富和发展现有的政治安全理论,为建立和完善中国特色社会主义政治安全体系和保障机制提供基础性理论前提。

The new era requires a new theory of political security. With the development of globalization, the acceleration of China＇s modernization and the increase in various political risks and challenges, how to maintain country＇s political security become a realistic question which is highly concerned by China＇s ruling party and theorists. Western political theory can provide important ideological resources for the research on political security from the following aspects： establishing and maintaining the legitimacy and validity of the political system; raising the level of political institutionalization; strengthening national capacity; cultivating political culture and civic awareness and so on. This paper intends to sort out those researches on political security of Western political science in order to learn from Western political theory, enrich and develop the existing political security theory and further provide a basic theoretical premise for establishing and improving the political security system of socialism with Chinese characteristics and its protection mechanism.
