不同年级、性别大学生BMI的比较——以宁德师范学院为例

A Comparative Study on the Body Mass Index(BMI) among College Students of Different Grades and Genders

采用测试、数理统计和文献资料等研究方法,对宁德师范学院不同年级、性别学生BMI分布特征进行分析。结果表明:宁德师范学院学生BMI分布在14.5～36.6之间,均值为19.97,大多数学生处于正常标准状态,低体重比例较大,而超重和肥胖总体水平不高;大学生BMI分布存在性别差异,BMI均值、正常体重比例与超重和肥胖的比例男生均高于女生,低体重比例女生明显高于男生;不同年级大学生BMI分布也存在差异,正常体重比例二年级学生最高,低体重比例三年级学生最高,超重和肥胖率一年级学生较高。

With the aid of literature method, statistical and theoretical analysis, tests and other research approaches, a survey on the BMI distribution characteristics among college students of different grades and different genders in Ningde Normal Uni- versity has been carried out. The result shows that： the BMI among students of Ningde Normal College extends from 14.5 to 36.6, with an average of 19.97. So it comes to the conclusion that the majority of the students are in a normal state, while people of low body weight accounts for a larger proportion of the population, and the problems of over weight and obesity re- main at a relatively low level; the data also suggests that there appear to be gender differences in the BMI distribution, with more male students having a higher BMI and in the normal range of healthy weight , whereas the ratio of female students having low weight is significantly higher than that of the boys, and less girls suffering from over weight and obesity; differences of distribution also exist in different grades ： the problems of over weight and obesity are mostly seen among the freshmen , by con- trast, the second year students enjoy the highest rate of normal weight, however, the juniors more of low weight.
