An improved HPF desulfurization process of coke oven gas was introduced, and the principle of the im- proved process which utilized ammonia water and alkali （ sodium hydroxide and sodium carbonate） as desulfurizer was discussed. The effect on the application of improved production process was described, the advantages of the process was also summarized.
