在欧洲一体化进程中,语言问题从沟通、成本、民主以及效率方面都已经越来越成为欧盟发展的障碍。为了解决语言问题,欧盟从法律上确定了坚持语言平等和语言多样性的原则,一直奉行多语言主义的语言政策,积极保护欧洲的多种语言文化,以及采取措施鼓励欧盟公民进行多种语言的学习。

In the process of the European integration, the language has been regarded as the obstacle in terms of communication, cost, democracy and effect. In order to solve the language problem, the European Union has legally established the language equality and multilingual principle and multilingualism, try hard to protect all the European languages and cultures,and take measures to encourage the European citizens to learn more languages.
