论《豆棚闲话》的“复调”叙事

On polyphonic narrative in “Chitchat in Beans Canopy”

《豆棚闲话》是成书于明末清初的一部拟话本小说集。刊刻之初,因其故事奇特,思想深刻,结构新颖,颇为流行。一些故事中出现了叙述者与接受者的对话与交流,在一定程度上打破了以往话本小说叙述者单向灌输式的讲述,使作者立场、故事意旨出现了摇摆与模糊,意蕴无穷。这与巴赫金的"复调小说"理论似有相通之处,但学界对此几无涉及,笔者拟就此问题试做论述。

＂Chitchat in Beans Canopy＂ is a book contemplated in the late Ming and early Qing dynasties. It is a collection of short stories. Because of its peculiar stories, profound ideas and novel structure, it has been quite pop- ular since its publishment. In some stories the narrator delivers dialogue with the recipient, breaking the one- way instillment, which brings about infinity not only in meaning but also in taste. This is similar to Bakhtin＇s polyphon- ic novel theory, however, scholars have seldom been involved in the research of this book. It is why the author in- tends to issue this discussion.
