The transport industry of our country is facing the historical opportunity of accelerated transition to modem service industry. To go on perfecting the transport infrastructure network, quicken the structural adjust- ment, improve the service guarantee capacity, accelerate the transformation of development mode, and advance the development of modem transport industry, higher requirements must be placed on the structure of talents in transport. This article discusses the current status of the transport industry and the development of talents in this industry, analyzes the problems existing in the talents in this industry, and provides some suggestions on the de- velopment of human resources in this industry.
