本体论抑或方法论——本雅明《译者的任务》再探

Ontology or Methodology: Re-exploration of Walter Benjamin's The Task of the Translator

本文在剖析国内学者对《译者的任务》研究现状的基础上,指出这些研究的共同之处,即《任务》的翻译本体论研究;结合本雅明的学术观点分析发现,本雅明对翻译真正的学术兴趣并不在翻译研究本身;《任务》不过是本雅明救赎哲学思想的方法论体现。对本体论与方法论的误读,是国内《任务》研究的症结所在。

Based on the investigation of current domestic studies on The Task of the Translator （TT）, this paper summarizes their shared points, namely, ＂translation-ontological＂ study of TT. With the analysis of the academic ideas of Walter Benja- min,this paper finds that what really interests Benjamin is not translation studies itself;TT is just an embodiment of Benjamin＇s methodology of redemption philosophy, and the mis- interpretation of ontology and methodology is the crux of do- mestic studies of TT.
