Carbon Management Path of China Forestry Sector in Addressing the Climate Change

首次全面系统介绍了中国林业应对气候变化工作特别是近十几年来碳汇管理的发展历程和创新实践,包括阐述林业碳汇的理论研究及其成果,简介成功实施全球首个CDM项目的经验和中国首个应对气候变化公募基金会——中国绿色碳汇基金会的建立与运行以及碳汇交易试点,总结中国林业碳管理标准体系的研究、成果和碳汇营造林项目的国内实践,提出今后中国林业碳管理的政策建议。

The paper systematically introduced the development process and innovation experiences of carbon management in China＇ s forestry sector for the first time in the past decade. It described the theoretic study and the findings of forestry carbon management, gave the brief introduction of the experiences of the global first CDM project and the establishment and the operation of China Green Carbon Foundation, the first public foundation against climate change in China, and illustrated the carbon trading pilot. Finally, the study and the relevant results of carbon management standard system in China as well as the practices of forest carbon projects in China were summarized, and the future policy recommendations for China＇ s carbon management was presented.
