摘要
纯粹市场经济体系往往不能提供满足社会大众需要的产品:一是市场机制所遵循的效益原则往往会忽视社会目标,并由此产生私人富裕和公共贫困共存的局面;二是现实市场中生产者往往比消费者拥有更大权力,并由此使生产主要源于生产者基于利润的供给,而非消费者基于需求的引导。显然,前者为增强政府的公共品供给能力提供了理论基础,后者则为反思消费至上主义提供了理论基础。因此,基于效益原则和力量结构的维度,我们应该且可以重新审视现代主流经济学的两大市场信念和消费理论。
Pure market economy system often cannot provide social mass with enough products that meet their needs. On one hand, the benefit principle followed by market mechanisms often ignores social objectives, thereby resulting in the co-existence of private affluence and public poverty. On the other hand, producers usually are much more powerful than consum- ers on the actual market, leading to supply-based production from producers based on profits rather than induction-based production from consumer based on needs. Obviously, the former provides the theoretical foundation for the increase in government capability of supplying public goods, and the latter provides the theoretical foundation for a reflection of consumerism. There- fore, based on the benefit principle and the power structure, we should and could rethink the two market beliefs and the consumption theory of modern mainstream economics.
