摘要
本文采用语料库的方法,将语言哲学的意向理论引入转述(带有转述动词和that从句)研究,根据意向类别对转述进行分类,从社会认知的角度揭示中国博士生如何通过转述的意向结构选择以明示或隐含的方式表达和评价自己或他人的研究工作。结果显示,中国作者的社会构建意识有待增强,这样才能实现由纯粹的实证主义写作者向成熟的社会构建主义作者的顺利过渡。学术论文转述教学应关注转述动词及时态所体现的评价意义,围绕不同转述的意向结构是否使用得体来开展教学活动。
This paper is an attempt to introduce intentionality theory into the study of finite reporting clauses with that-clause complementation in research articles by Chinese Ph. D candidates and to disclose how Chinese writers express and evaluate their own or others' research work through a choice of different intentional patterns of reporting clauses. The quantitative and qualitative analysis of the collected data indicates that Chinese writers' social awareness of constructing reporting clauses should be strengthened so that they could gradually become mature writers. It is concluded that evaluative meanings of reporting verbs and grammatical tenses are worth our attention and reporting clause teaching is suggested to be implemented around the proper choice of different intentional structures of reporting clauses.
