摘要
本文在梳理和研究史料的基础上,将中国学术界译介与研究乔叟的历史分为三个阶段分别加以论述;作者在充分肯定该领域业已取得成就的同时,指出了目前我国学术界在这一研究领域中面临的挑战、问题与不足,及其应对的方法。
The essay gives a comprehensive account of how Geoffrey Chaucer has been translated and studied in China in three respective historical periods (1900--1949, 1950s--1960s, 1980--2010) , exploring what has been academically achieved, and pointing out the obvious insufficiency and future prospects.
