Tsawa Tritul,a Distinguished Scholar and the Tibetan Education

擦珠·阿旺罗桑于1880年出生在日喀则贵族德来绕丹家庭,是西藏近现代史上颇有影响的著名学者和教育家。文章以历史资料为依据,对擦珠·阿旺罗桑的学生和家人等知情人士进行访谈,收集和考证了相关的第一手资料,对他的学习经历、家族背景及其与十三世达赖喇嘛、擦绒·达桑占堆之间的特殊关系作了简要而客观的叙述,并论述了他在西藏和平解放初期对西藏教育、人才培养所做出的突出贡献。

Tsawa Tritul,born in a noble family named Delek Rabden in Shigatse in 1880,was an influential scholar and educator in the modern history of Tibet.After collecting first-hand information by looking up historical records and interviewing his students,family and some other people,this article makes an brief and objective presentation of Tsawa Tritul＇s education and family background as well as his special relationship with the 13th Dalai Lama and Tsarong Dasang Dadul.And a discussion is made on his outstanding contributions to the Tibetan education and personnel training at the beginning of Tibet＇s peaceful liberation aiming to correct the misjudgment of him in the previous research.
