This article discusses the geometric classification of the sections of hook fold of Xiacun areain Huili, Sichuan. It also deals with the relationship between the hook fold and the big fold. Meanwhile,the conditions of material, temperature, pressure and mechanics caused by hook-folding and tectono-transposition, as well as the relationship between the hook fold and the longitudinal tectono-transposi-tion are demonstrated.
