摘要
多协议标记交换 (MPL S)技术是 ATM交换与 Internet路由 /转发技术相结合最具代表性的一种模式。 MPL S技术将网络层分组的网络层转发和链路层交换相结合 ,不仅有助于提高中继系统的分组转发能力 ,而且可以对提高网络路由系统的可扩展性起到一定的作用。本文简要分析了 MPL S的网络模型、标记分配、路由技术以及 ATM骨干网上采用 MPL S的技术方案。
Multi Protocol Label Switching(MPLS)is the most representative integration model for ATM switching and Internet routing/packet forwarding. MPLS combines network layer packet forwarding with link layer frame switching for L3 packet relaying. This technology not only greatly improves the packet forwarding capability in intermediate systems, but also enhances the network layer routing system's scalability. This paper briefly analyzes the network model of MPLS, label assigning and routing technique. Some techniques are presented which use MPLS based on the ATM backbone network.
