Consumers were out of the market for celebration of Chinese Lunar New Year recently. Demand from end-user was weak. Dealings of rare earth were slow in spot market. Many consumers had no intention to increase stocks before the Spring Festival. Similarly, trading was stagnant in the export market. Consumers were waiting to see further market trend in the market and were unwilling to purchase raw materials on a large volume.
