Sliengfang, an ,＇indent itown in＇ Hebei p rovince, dates back more than 2,400 years, Shengfang is situated f20 kilometers south of Beijing and 35 kilometers west of Tianjin. The town developed from Ditou, a riverside village near Dongdian Lake, the water of which came from the： nearby Daqing and Zhongting rivers. The town was nanled Shengfang during file Song Dynasty （960-1279）,It devel0ped into one of the：slx key： towns the Zhili area during the Qing Dynasty （1644-1911）.
在我国河北省霸州市有一个始建于2400年前春秋末期的古镇——胜芳。此地在北京以南120公里、天津以西35公里处。在京开、京沪高速公路与荣乌高速公路的交叉点之间。胜芳原为水乡，紧邻大清河。中亭河流入形成的东淀湖泊，最初因地处河堤汇台处而得名堤头村。宋时定名为胜芳，取意“胜水荷香，万古流芳”。清朝时被列为直隶六大重镇之一。
