This paper introduces categories and the mechanism of chain extenders, and indi- cates how to use it to increase viscosity of recycled PET. The advantage of the chain extender with two functional groups is discussed. The chain extender of POLICHEM S. R. L EXORDIVEN SPL and its application is presented.
