黄梅戏剧本创作是黄梅戏编导专业的必修课程。这门课的开设,应该把握四个方面:广泛涉猎古今中外名著,熟悉戏曲编剧的特殊性,深入体验生活,加大支持力度。剧本荒是制约当今戏剧发展的瓶颈,编导人才的培养,需要学校、教师和学生的通力合作。

The course of Huangmei Opera Script Writing is compulsory for those majoring in writing and directing Huangmei Operas. Great importance should be attached to four aspects in the teaching ： reading masterpieces at all times and in all countries extensively, familiarizing students with particularities of drama writing, experiencing life deeply, and strengthening support. Script shortage is the bottleneck restricting the development of contemporary drama. To train opera writers needs cooperation of schools, teachers and students.
