杰克·伦敦是美国现实主义文学中的代表作家之一,他一生共创作了多部家喻户晓的经典名作。在这些作品中,蕴含着诸多的矛盾现象,包括理想与现实之间的矛盾、激情的憧憬与失落的感伤之间的反差、矛盾的生命伦理与生存哲学以及"双性同体"视域下人物性别的矛盾等。正是在对这些矛盾问题的探索与总结中,杰克.伦敦的人生与创作一步步地走向成熟,最终达到了其写作生涯的巅峰。
Jack London is one of the representative writers of Realism in American Literature. During his life time, he has created many well-known classics. In these works, there are many contradictory phenomenon, including the contradiction between dream and reality, passionate expectation and senti- mental loss, contradictory Bioethics and philosophy of existence as well as the phenomenon of ＂Androg- yny＂ reflected in the characters. In thinking and exploring these contradictions of life, Jack London becomes more and more mature in his writing and reaches the summit of his writing career eventually.
