This paper briefly introduces the composition, main technical parameters and characteristics of QD128gas turbine generation units with the independent intellectual property rights. Combining with engineering construction, it analyzes its advantage of lowing construction and operating cost, long continuous operating time, strong overload capacity, energy-saving and etc. It points out that QD128 gas turbine generation units as standby generation units in communication might have an impact on the market pattern and operation ＆ maintenance mode of the high-power standby generation units at present.
