摘要
人际交往中的语言互动在很大程度上体现在语法体系中的语气和情态上,而这两者亦体现了人际意义,促进了会话参与者间的互动和交流。选取美剧《绝望的主妇》中的几段对话,对其语气系统进行了分析,从而试析了其语气系统所表达的人际意义,体现了语气系统对表达人际意义的重要作用。同时也为观众,尤其是英语学习者,提供了一种研究和欣赏美剧的理论方法。
The interaction of the language is implemented mainly by the mood and modality in grammar system, which can express the interpersonal meaning and make it possible that the communicating participants interact with each other. With several samples of dialogue chosen from American TV series Desperate Housewives, this paper analyzes the Mood system and the interpersonal meaning expressed and comes up with that it is vital to use the Mood system to enhance the interpersonal meaning. At the same time, the Mood system offers a theoretical method for the audience, the English learner especially, to study and appreciate the U.S. TV series.
