An Analysis of Concept of Political Marriage in Song Dynasty

中国古代的和亲自西汉至清末有近两千多年的历史,但宋明两朝却无一例和亲。宋朝之所以无和亲,和宋代的和亲理念有很大的关系。论述了宋朝时期中原民族正统的民族观、高度发达的社会经济、"守内虚外"的施政方针及理学的萌芽与兴盛是影响和亲理念的重要因素。

In ancient China from Western Han Dynasty to Qing Dynasty, the royal family had a 2000 years histo- ry to make peace with rulers of minority nationalities in the border areas by marriage. Because of the marriage concept in Song Dynasty. there was no such a case in Song Dynasty and Ming Dynasty. It＇s affected by national self-reliance orthodox view of central plains of China, highly developed social economy, the policy of protecting intern and ignoring extern and neo-confucianism in the bud and thriving in Song Dysnasty.
