Three Kernels Decoction, a commonly used formula of ZHANG Nian-zhi, is widely used in the department of respiration. Whether external or internal injuries, if we carefully observe the evidence of damp-heat obstructing the triple burner and refer to the symptom of greasy moss, pulse moisten, poor stool and flexible addition and subtraction, according to the condition of the patient,we will obtain good effect. This paper summarizes the experience of ZHANG Nian-zhi on applica- tion of Three Kernels Decoction, according 5 cases, which embodies the core thought of ＂same treatment for different dis- eases＂ in Chinese Medicine
