On Library Digitization and Khampa Cultural Resources

康巴文化资源从六个方面显示其丰富的内涵,这些文化资源以纸质文献和口碑文献为载体得以传承。如今民族文化发展使康巴文化资源散见各类媒体,面对传统和现代两种文化资源的不同特点,图书馆如何利用现代信息技术来整合这些资源并加以保护和利用,无疑是民族地区高校图书馆数字化建设面临的重大课题,也是馆藏特色数据库建设的意义所在,更是民族地区高校图书馆的文化使命所在。

Khampa cultural resources have been inherited by paper, oral instruction and demon- stration , and shown their abundant connotations from six aspects. Nowadays, most of Khampa cultural resources are scattered over all kinds of media due to the development of ethnic cultures. Since the differences between the traditional and modern culture resources, for library digitization from the colleges and universities in ethnic areas there exist some great topics such as how to apply the modern information technology to these resources, and their protection and utilization. Moreover, library digitization is not only the basic task for the libraries from the colleges and universities in ethnic areas but also of great significance for the electronic document database.
