摘要
汉语流水式的短句形成长短不一的句群,以意义关系紧密的句群即话语为语义单位,在汉英语言对比基础上,综合运用语块、搭配、介词、分词、插入语、连接副词,构建主次分明、伸缩自如、逻辑清晰的英语句子,能有效提高汉英翻译译文的质量。
Chinese language is full of short or long sentences combined by meaning, thus its language units, whose translation to English can be made by several ways： chunks, collocation, preposition, participle, parenthesis, adverbial clause, connective. These can make logical, flexible English sentence whose main parts and minor parts are clearly cut.
