On the Importance and Basic Connotation of the Construction of the Party’s Purity

胡锦涛总书记在中央纪委十七届七次全会上明确提出了党的纯洁性建设的重大课题,为当前和今后一个时期党的建设工作指明了方向,是对马克思主义党的建设理论的创新和发展。我们必须深刻认识新形势下党的纯洁性建设的重要性,准确把握党的纯洁性建设的基本内涵,按照党的纯洁性建设的总体要求,在继承党的建设成功经验的基础上,深入探索加强党的纯洁性建设的基本路径,扎实做好党的纯洁性建设的各项工作。

General Secretary Hu Jintao put forward the major issue of the construction of the Party＇ s purity explicitly on the seven plenary sessions of the seventh session of Central Commission for Discipline Inspection of the Communist Party of China, which points out the direction for the current and future work of party building, but also is an innovation and development of the Marxist theory of party building. We must deeply understand the importance of the Party＇ s Purity of the construction under the new circumstances and accurately grasp the basic connotation of the construction of the Party＇ s Purity. We should explore basic path to strengthen the power and do a solid job in the Party＇ s purity of the construction work, in accordance with the overall requirements of the construction of the Party＇ s Purity and successful experience of the existing party building.
