ACAD template is an important content of ACAD technology and one of the effective way to enhance the efficiency of ACAD drawing. The concept of ACAD template is introduced, and based on the architectural template cases, the method of making ACAD template is provid- ed in detail in three aspects, that is, the visible drawings, setting environment named and set- ting system variables. Taking the general drawing frame and the common blocks as examples, the thesis elaborates on the visible drawings of ACAD template and how to set environment named based on the layer of drawing. The connotation of ACAD template is perfected by set- ting system variables.
