Study of the First Official Positions of Number One Scholars in the Early and Prosperous Tang Dynasty

文章简述了唐代的守选、释褐制度,对有案可稽的10位初盛唐状元的初始职任作了考证,认为初盛唐状元夺魁后初始职任并不像明、清状元那样统一与固定,而是比较随意;初盛唐政府对状元初始官阶的规定根本没有执行,有时还有较大的向上浮动,这种浮动带随机性。

This paper gives a brief introduction of the bureaucratic system of awaiting the assignments for the candidates, and does a textual study on the first positions of the 10 number one scholars with records. The author holds that the first official positions of number one scholars in the early and prosperous Tang Dynasty are not as uni- fied and fixed as they are in the Ming and Qing Dynasties. The Tang government didnt implement the related provi- sions. The appointment was fluctuating and random.
