At the beginning of the 20th century, Lu Xun wrote ＂Talking about Cultural Deviation＂ ,＂ On History of Science＂ and other essays, suspecting that the overwhelming development of science and material culture without any temperance may become a threaten to human lives. He cautioned that negative effects and potential harms might be brought about if science and material culture were one - sidedly pursued. His perception and thinking on the ＇ era disease＇ of deviation of science still remain a kind of poignant warning to us today.
