摘要
国内学者对于美国外语教学的研究一直没有间断,美国外语教育改革是一个研究热点。但是对于其《21世纪外语学习标准》的研究仅局限于对内容的介绍上,目前还没有对"5C"标准中文化因素的较为深入的研究。本文在介绍2006版《标准》的基础上,分析了文化因素的内涵,陈述了美国西密苏里州立大学2011-2012学年3门外语课5位教师10个班次课程中文化教学的实例,总结了文化教学的建议。最后提出了文化因素对我国英语教学和对外汉语教学的启示。
The reform of American Foreign Language Teaching and Learning has always been a topic among domes-tic researchers. But the previous study about Standards for Foreign Language Learning in the 21st Century mainly focused on introducing its content, and there is no further study about "Cultures" in the Five Cs. After introducing the third edition of the national standards in 2006, this research analyses the "Cultures", with a case study about how culture is involved in the 10 courses from 5 professors of 3 foreign languages in 2011-2012 academic year in Missouri Western State University. Suggestions on introducing cultures in foreign language classes are presented. Integrating culture in English classes in China and Chinese classes abroad will surely improve the language educa-tion.
