摘要
文章是对《长生殿》昆曲小剧场设计的总结。建筑师不以形式为设计的出发点,而是引入更为接近中国传统的空间思考方式,以中文特有的修辞手法——对偶切入建筑设计,使空间组织更为有序并贴合空间所承载的内容。建筑师体会到在建筑设计中,形式是为内容服务的,不一定是首要考虑和关注的内容。在构筑设计的内容以及意境生成的过程中,形式会自然显现而不必先验。
This paper offers a critical summary of the design of Kunqu Opera Theatre for the Palace of Eternal Life at Mandarin Court Villas in Shanghai, The architect refuses to take form as the point of departure of the design, but introduces a spatial way of thinking that is closer to the Chinese tradition instead. By incorporating the traditional Chinese rhetoric device of 'antithesis' into architectural design, he is able to make the spatial organization more ordered and comply with the content conveyed by the space. The architect has realized that form is always in the service of content in architectural design and does not necessarily have to be the primary concern. In the process of the design and creating the artistic mood, form will naturally present itself.
