The reform of Language Curriculum in Taiwan and in the mainland took place almost simultaneously. The move of im- proving the syllabus, enhancing the studems＇Language literacy, contact life, and the inheritance of national culture in Taiwan is worth our considering. The pursuing of core competencies, beautiful sentiment and respecting, diverse cultural values is worthy of our attention. Syllabus-based teaching outline, integration of text-based topic, and life related writing practices in Taiwan Lauguage Curriculum Reform can be inspired by the mainland Chinese workers.
