中学阶段学生英语自学能力的培养是非常重要的,它可以激发学生的求知欲,使自学成为他们内在的需要,使学生真正获得适应社会需要的学习能力。学生自学能力的培养需要教师有步骤、有计划地进行。首先教师要转变观念,创设宽松的学习环境以激发学生学习积极性;其次,立足课堂教学,有计划地训练和培养学生良好的自学能力;第三,培养学生发现和解决问题的能力,鼓励学生创新;最后,培养学生分析和总结的能力。

The training of self - study ability in middle school students＂ English learning is very important. It can stimulate the needs of students＂ self - study and make the students acquire the learning ability which can get them adapted to the society. The process of self- study ability training requires the English teachers to guide and train the students in a planned way. To that end, teachers should change their ideas of teaching , create relaxed learning environment arouse the desire of the students for learning. Also, teaching should be based on the classroom and the teachers should encourage students＇innovation and cultivate their ability of how to analyze and solve problems, as well as the ability of analyzing and summarizing.
