In the year 2002, the ＂Multiple College Entrance Examination System＂was carried out formally in Taiwan, China. There are two main tests in college entrance examinations of Taiwan： ＂General Scholastic Ability Test＂ and ＂Department Required Test＂. English writing tests of college entrance examination in Taiwan have been set by using kinds of topics, contacting life and facing reality. English writing tests with stable and distinctive features have made great efforts to test the examinees＇ abilities of English writing, which will give much enlightenment to the mainland on how to set English writing tests of college entrance examination.
