The sudden change of the level and the size plays a dual amplification effect for the survival and development of newly-built local colleges. In the increasingly fierce competition of higher education, accurating positioning and adhering to the characteristics are the key factor for the survival.The article explores the development model and path selection of the internationalization of newly-built local colleges in perspective of the significance of internationalization, the comparative advantages and some issues to be dealt with in the process of the internationalization.
