古代日本人稻信仰探究——以《风土记》为中心

Researches on the Belief in Rice of Ancient Japanese——Focusing on Fudoki

自古以来,日本人对稻就怀有特殊的情感。在对日本奈良时期的地理志《风土记》中有关稻的神话传说进行了分类解析后发现,古代日本人将稻视为一种神圣的存在,认为稻是来自神世界的产物,神指定稻为人的粮食,并将稻作的方法传授于人,稻被赋予呼唤光明的能力,且象征土地的所有权。这种原始的稻信仰深深扎根于日本文化之中并影响至今。

There has been an extraordinary feeling about rice for Japanese since ancient times.Based on the analysis and classification about rice mythology and legend of geographical chronicle Fudoki in Nara Period,it is found that in ancient Japanese thought,rice is the product of the divine being,and God appoints rice as the food of human beings and teaches them methods of rice planting.Also,ice as the divine being,is given special ability of calling for brightness,symbolizing ownership of land.The above ideas compose the ancient belief in rice and give support to the Japanese culture.
