Homeland Consciousness in Jia Pingwa’s Local Novels

贾平凹20世纪90年代以来的乡土小说充分展现了社会发展变迁进程中伦理视角下人对乡土家园意识的多样化姿态,通过三重意识的并联,表现出作家小说叙述复调手法的创新。家园意识的多重复调表现为:一是从乡村走向城市双重身份下对家园意识的冷漠者;二是长期身居乡村家园意识的守护者;三是生长在农村又不甘于乡村生活的当下年轻一代,成为乡村家园意识的矛盾者。贾平凹在其作品中从多类人物视角多种层面阐释乡村家园意识,表现出乡村人物的丰富性,及乡土伦理变迁中人的家园意识的嬗变,同时也表达出贾平凹的乡土困惑感。

Since the 1990s, Jia Pingwa＇s local novels show the diversity of people＇s homeland consciousness fromethical perspective in the progress of social development. Through the paralleled three-fold consciousness, we can see the writer＇s innovation of technique in the polyphonic narrative. The multiple polyphony of homelandconsciousness manifests： first, the indifferent people with double identity who move from rural area to city; second, the guardians with homeland consciousness who live in rural area constantly; third, the nowadays young generations with the contradictions who was born and breed in the rural area but unwilling to stay there. Jia Pingwa＇s localnovels interpret rural home consciousness from the perspective of multiple individuals in a variety of levels; show the richness of the country characters and the evolvement of the ethical issues in local homeland consciousness; and also express his local confusion.
