荆州古城周边旧城区现状调查分析及保护更新策略——以老南门外东堤街更新为例

The Current Situation, Protection and Renewal Strategy about Old Jingzhou: The Update of Dongdi Street in the Old South Gate for Example

本文通过对荆州古城周边旧城区的实地现状调查,对其发展现状进行分析,并总结出其发展缓慢的原因。通过对吴良镛先生的有机更新理论的再解读,衍生出新的有机更新理论,并分析各类发展限制因素,发掘古城边沿的发展的理论基础,最后通过老南门东堤街的更新实例,提出旧城区保护更新的具体策略。

By the field research of Jingzhou ancient city wall and its external community, its development status were analyzed. This paper sums up the reasons for its slow development. By the analysis and interpretation of the organic renewal theory of Wu Liangyong, this paper suggests a new organic renewal theory. Through all kinds of analysis, this paper explores the theoretical basis for the development of the edge of ancient city, and finally through the instance of transformation of the Dongdi Street, it suggests a strategy of protection and improvement of the old community.
