摘要 文章介绍了北京红砖美术馆以白居易的"随形制器"为教诲,尝试着将文人造园因借自然的方式,带入建筑的匠造过程。白居易对匠作提出的两项要求"因物不改"、"事半功倍",始终贯穿着红砖美术馆建筑设计。有时是"因借"先在的大棚——它是美术馆改造的前提,有时是制造先机——它是美术馆内部空间的上扩下挖的动机,倘若都不能,也希望能以多重场景意象叠加成"事半功倍"的效果。 Bearing in mind Bai Juyi's epithet 'the Vessel should assume the shape of the material',the designers have attempted to incorporate the reliance on natural means exemplified in the literati's garden building into the craftsmanship of architectural design.The design of Red Brick Art Museum has been shot through with Bai Juyi's two requirements for the craftsman,'Follow rather than alter the object's nature' and 'Twice the yield,half the work'.Sometimes the designers have relied on the existing hall,which is the precondition of the art museum's renovation. Sometimes they have created advantageous opportunities,which drove the efforts to change the interior space of the art museum,including the covering of the upper space and the digging of the lower.If neither achieved its desired effect,then the architect hopes that the overlapping of multiple images of settings would achieve 'twice the yield' with 'half the work'.
