当代中国建筑,也许最缺乏的不是设计师的灵感构思,而是设计师理想的自始至终的贯彻执行。公众对于建筑的认知模糊不清、甲方意志与建筑师想法的冲突、施工质量和建筑品质的良莠不齐,所有这一切都足以让设计师的理想烟飞云散。少数理想主义者选择了远离商业纷扰,只做美术馆或博物馆;大多数人却无可选择地在茫茫商海中随波逐流。然而,在坚守与沉沦之间,建筑师如何平衡自我主张与现实状况之间的矛盾?如何在无奈的现实困难中发挥个性和理想?本期人物采访了何勍建筑师,这位曾经以天津中新生态城"民工板房"作品获得中国建筑传媒奖之最佳居住建筑奖的作者,谈到了她在其所设计的广州纺织品交易中心过程中所经历的种种困惑与坚守。
He Qiong graduated from the Tianjian University Department of Architecture in 1986, and received her Master’s degree from the Southeast University School of Architecture Institute for Architectural Research in 1989. In 2000, she deepened her understanding of interior design through a six-month stay at the International Academy of Design, Toronto Canada. Representative projects include the Tianjin Ecological Development Apartments, the terminal for the Ordos Airport, the Guangzhou Trade Park, the Beijing University Fangzheng Pharmaceutical Research Institute, the Taiyuan MOHO five-star Hotel, and the Baiying Medical Technology Park in Shekou, Shenzhen. She believes that design 'begins in reason, returns to feeling'.
