本文介绍了生态文化下重要设计目标"建筑机能"和提升"建筑机能"的工作方法—建筑设计和工程分析的整合与互动,并通过案例介绍了结构、能效、舒适性和材料等工程学设计工作与建筑设计的结合,最后分析了这种方法在形态和审美上产生的影响,以及对于建立建筑与城市的关系可能起到的作用.

This article introduces the concept of ＂building performance＂ as an important benchmark for design in the ecology culture of our time. It also suggested the methodology of improving building performance - integrated design process that fuses architecture and engineering. Examples on structural, energy/comfort, and material studies in architectural design process are provided and how to help to achieve the optimum end result is discussed. At the end, it analyzes the aesthetics that derives from this approach and its potential of helping to realize urban concept.
