摘要
印度佛教传入中国以后,经过本土的儒、道、释三家重大思想精髓的融合,形成了极具中国特色的本土文化——禅宗文化。在现代设计中融入的禅宗美学思想,用简代繁、用宁静代替喧嚣、用自然代替造作,是禅宗美学赋予设计的新境界。
Since its influxion into China, Buddhism has taken into new elements from three major local thinking schools, namely, Confucianism, Taoism, and Shi, and thus a new culture with distinctive Chinese characteristics, the Zen culture, has come into being. Zen aesthetics has brought the modem design up to a new height where simple- ness is preferred rather than complexity, tranquility than flashiness, and nature than artificialness.
