摘要
研究了端面抽运NdYVO4固体激光器激光晶体内基模半径与抽运光斑半径的匹配。晶体的Nd掺杂原子数分数分别为0.5%和2%,抽运功率分别为10W和14W。结果表明:TEM00模输出功率对于wlwpa在低于1的很大范围内的变化不敏感,不存在一个确定的最佳wlwpa值;在相对很小的wlwpa情形,仍可获得高效单一的TEM00模输出,在这种情况下热透镜球差具有限模孔径的作用。
The mode matching in high power end pumped Nd∶YVO 4 solid state lasers has been investigated by employing two different Nd 3+ doped crystals at pump power of 10 W and 14 W, respectively. The results show that the output power in TEM 00 mode is insensitive to the ratio of fundamental mode radius to averaged pump spot radius (w l /w p a ) over a large range of w l /w p a <1, and there is no obvious optimal w l /w p a ratio at which the output power is maximized. The results also indicate that high efficient radiation in single TEM 00 mode is still available in the situation of very small w l /w p a ratio due to the aperture effect arising from thermal lens spherical aberrations.
