An Introduction to Research Commons in China University Library

在学习共享空间向研究共享空间发展的基础上,以创造式、探究式共享空间在国外高校兴起为背景,论述了国内高校图书馆构建研究共享空间的可行性和重要意义,认为研究共享空间是学习共享空间发展的必然趋势,并从创建独立的及改造原有的空间、虚拟与实体空间一体化构建及人力资源等几大方面阐述了建构研究共享空间的基本思路和面临的问题。

On the basis of the development of the learning commons to research commons,and based on the background of create and inquiry-based rise in foreign universities. This paper discusses the feasibility and significance of the academic library of construction for research commons,and it is suggested that research commons is an inevitable trend in the development of learning commons. Described basic thinking and problems facing research commons which mainly includes create independent and transform the original space,integration construction of virtual and physical space,and human resources,etc. This paper puts forward an idea of research commons brings a rare opportunity for the development of the library,and provides a strong support to upgrading comprehensive,high-level services of the library,as well as creates a totally new way to achieve changes in the values of library services and means.
