This paper summarized the field performance of yield and main characteristics of introduced Chuanxiangyou No. 2 and proposed its high yield cultivation techniques used as ratoon rice, including timely sowing, raising sturdy seedlings, reasonable plant density, ridge cultivation, scientific water and fertilization, keep greenish-yellow stalks of main cropping rice in late period, timely harvest, reasonable stubble height and comprehensive control of diseases and pests.
