Yield performance of Mingxi yam No.1 and its high-yielding cultivation techniques

明溪淮山1号经多年的试验、示范、推广,表现肉质雪白细嫩、滋味鲜美口感好、产量高、抗性好。该文总结了明溪淮山1号品种的特征特性及产量表现,从薯块消毒、适时播种、合理密植、科学水肥管理和病虫害防治等方面介绍了其高产栽培技术。

Results of many years of test, demonstration and extension indicated that ＂Mingxi yam No. 1＂ showed characteris- tics of milk-white flesh with fine and tender in texture, good taste, high yield and better resistance. Its characteristics and yield performance were summarized and the high-yielding cultural techniques of Mingxi yam No. 1, including seed tuber sterilization, suitable sowing date, rational plant density, scientific management of water and fertilizer and pest control, were introduced in this paper.
